¹⁵ “The land of Zebulun and Naphtali is along the road to the lake. It is on the other side of the Jordan River in Galilee. These people are not Jews. ¹⁶ The people who sat in darkness saw a great light. Light did shine on those in the land who were near death.” ^(A)

¹⁷ From that time on, Jesus went about preaching. He said, “Be sorry for your sins and turn from them. The holy nation of heaven is near.”
